Light for Kids

• Children Under Our Care:
  We care for 40 children: 22 girls and 18 boys, ranging in age from 3 to 14 years old. All the children have access to education, and the cost of education ranges from $50 to $80 per child per term. Each term lasts for 3 months, and there are 3 terms in a year.

• Housing Situation:
  Currently, we are renting a house, and the monthly rent is $300.

• Food and Meals:
  Providing food for the children is one of our greatest challenges. We strive to provide 3 meals a day, and to ensure a healthy, balanced diet, we require $800 per month solely for food.

• Child Sponsorship Program:
  If someone is interested in sponsoring a child, they should contact us directly for details. However, it’s important to note that all children are treated equally, whether sponsored or not.

Ziridamu Paul started Light for Kids Ministries with a simple but powerful goal: to make a real difference in the lives of orphans. With a heart full of passion and a deep sense of integrity, he has worked tirelessly to grow the organization and ensure it stands as a beacon of hope for those in need.

Paul became a Born-Again Christian in 2015, an experience that transformed his life. Since then, he’s been devoted to serving God with a genuine and loving heart, putting his faith into action by caring for vulnerable children. His journey is a testament to what compassion, faith, and determination can achieve.

Mityana Light for Kids Ministries is a legally registered charity organization under the Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB). Our Certificate of Registration was issued on October 21, 2021, with Registration No: 80020003333231.
